During the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Mexico showcased interesting trends in downloads and active users.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 55K in late October and again in early December. Active users saw a notable rise to 3.8M in early December, before declining to 3.2M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent pattern in downloads, reaching about 52K in mid-December. The app's active users increased to 1.7M in early December, though it ended the quarter with around 1.4M.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced a decline in downloads, with a notable drop to just over 5K in early December. Active users decreased from 131K in late October to about 102K by the end of December.
